Headed out on a Saturday night with a group of friends and ended up having dinner here - arriving just after 8:30 we were told that we only had 10 minutes to order before the kitchen closed. We quickly order from a decent variety of dishes on the menu and were pleasantly surprised when all 6 of our meals arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. Fairly typical 'pub grub' but reasonably priced, tasty and quick friendly service. Restaurant area was busy and rather noisy due to the bar next door but pleasant atmosphere and the live duo next door were pretty great. Overall a nice place to spend a relaxing social Saturday night on the coast!
My mum and my sister went here for dinner on a Thursday night for dinner, it was such a nice experience. Great friendly service, great atmosphere, great location and delicious food! Just to top it off we spent a little while in the bar area listening to the acoustic music. A very enjoyable night.
visit Coolangatta yearly and last year i came across the Sands Hotel and it's bistro. unsure what to expect we decided to eat there as the menu looked good and was well priced. it was fantastic and we ate there 2 more times before leaving. returning this year we where eager to go back.
we have and it is still fantastic, great value great service and they have added a wine bar to it now which we are keen to try.
