I'm a 38 year "young" mother of 3, I have just enrolled my son and self to learn how to surf.
I was really nervous as I'm not a spring chicken anymore and also for the lack of knowledge for surf awareness. We had our first surfing lessons last week and my confidence is now high, what a great rush, had a great insightful instructor and now I'm hooked.
Looking forward to my next lesson and so is my son.

the team at coolum surf school have taught my daughter's to surf and to enjoy the water safely.It is not only the surfing side of things but also the knowledge and experience of the team that make it a wonderful sport to be involved in.I have just enrolled my two sons in the school so they to can find the enjoyment and pleasure of the water. to the team at coolum surfing school keep up the great work and surf hard.
This was an awesome experience! I have had 2 lessons so far with Chris from the Surf School and highly recommend it. We started off with some thorough surf awareness which put me at ease being in the water and gave me confidence that I wasn't going to drown! As a bit of a geek, I didn't expect much, but he had me in the water quickly and was standing up in the first lesson. The second lesson I even stayed on for a little bit! Well worth the experience and not to be left for the kids. (Although the kids will love it!)
