AWESOME DAY OUT ON GONE FISHING!
Booked Full day charter on Gone Fishing last week and what a great day it was!It was 6 of us.. We met skipper Adam at the port and listened to safety briefing.. in approx. 30 minute travel time on comfy boat we have anchored on first fishing spot.. What a spot! We caught a lots of fish, some of them smaller so we let them go but everyone of us caught a big one. Adam was very helpful giving his tips and helping reeling in the fish.. cutting the baits, changing the rig if it was lost or preparing our catch. We had a lunch at the restaurant at the marina with the view on the bay.. Steak sandwich, chips and salad.. In the afternoon we went to different fishing locations.. It was a bit more quiet as far as the fishing was concerned but we still caught massive cobia. End of the trip group photo has been taken showing off our catches.. It was awesome fishing trip! I will definitely recommend it.
Went on Gone Fishing a few days ago with my 5 mates and what a epic trip we had! Adam ( Captain) put us on the spot straight away and we caught heaps of fish.. my highlight would be 22kg Mackerel.. We departed from the main marina in Airlie so very convenient...The boat was comfy with really good quality rods & reels... Planning to book private charter next month's we had such a great time.. Highly recommended!!
WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!! If you are looking for a fishing adventure - keep looking! This guy is completely useless. Of the seven people on board, no fish were caught. It's just a boatride. The boat is too small for the amount of people, there is not even anywhere to wash hands. Been on a few charters before which I've always enjoyed but advise strongly against using this company!
Just to say " Thank you! " to all crew at Coral Sea Fishing Charters for fantastic day our fishing. Kids loved the trip and the fish tasted so good!
