We went here in a group, a little nervous about the painting being none artistic. However, it was one of the most creative nights out I've ever had. I loved being walked through the paintings step by step over wine and great conversation. The place itself is really open, fresh and doesn't take itself too seriously. It is very obviously a creative space for likeminded people. I've since recommended the art and wine experience to a lot of people who have been and loved it also. I can't wait to go back to Cork and Chroma!
I absolutely love love LOVE this place! The atmosphere here is s detox from a stressful days work. Just so relaxing and chill. I absolutely love the idea of painting with a glass of wine and just creating a masterpiece.
My favourite part of the night has to be our instructor. Fun, bubbly and very helpful. She just made the whole experience very positive.
Cork and Chroma is my spirit animal. I highly recommend everyone giving it try, even if you can't paint. You'll definitely learn to make a masterpiece
An art studio where you can paint and drink at the same time. Amazing. This place holds events where you got taught to paint, and you can drink wine and eat food too. The manager/host is awesome and is a great teacher, she shows you how to paint step-by-step whilst we copy (or the misbehaving students do their own thing??). She was an excellent teacher, with a great sense of humour and also quite encouraging despite some of us not quite being Michelangelo. They supply the brushes, palettes, canvas and a great time!
Seriously tho, who wouldn't want to spend few hours of creating amazing paintings (even if you are the opposite of creative) whilst listening to good tunes and having a glass of wine and nibbles? It is such a great concept! All canvas/painting gears are provided, all you need is good company and BYO drinks and food! You will be truly surprised what you can create in the few hours you have with a live and friendly artist demonstrating every step of the way!
Truly one of the best nights out I've had in Sydney in terms of experiencing a bit of culture, and something other than just getting drunk out on the town. Instead we got to get drunk whilst being creative! The casualness about it made it so relaxing, and ensured the non-picasso's felt at ease with experimenting and having fun with painting.
Will go back 100%.
