If you're looking for a cheap, friendly and fast dinner you're better of going elsewhere. I ordered 2 flake and some chips. Not much right? $35! Ok, that could be forgiven, maybe there are awesome fish and chips!

Everything about this shop is a disappointment, the rude service, the over priced food, the quality of the fish is poor. As a local pt lonsdale person i would not eat here again.
Completely agree, very rude staff, there is no quality and it is over priced for what you get. Never again, there are so many excellent options in Queenscliff.
Chips were well cooked but we got a very small amount for the price. Grilled fish was awful. Wasn't flake like ordered, was dry, small, stale, tasteless and hard to eat. Very very disappointed and won't go there again.
As a local my family we rarely buy fish & chips from Couta's. Rude customer service, over priced, long wait times & value for money is poor. Would rather drive 5 minutes down the road to either queenscliff or ocean grove for fish & chips.
