Whilst the interior is light and modern. The atmosphere was relatively relaxed and the coffee lacked the burnt taste that other places do. But that is about all that I can say that is positive.
As a local I had eyed off this coffee place with the anticipation of one of the rare days that I had the time and few extra dollars to go. I cannot say I will return. Taking my disabled son up the ramp I was faced with the option of trying to weave my sons chair through the tables and chairs or squeeze through the small space they allowed to channel people past the QR code. We are sorry to hear of your experience. Having just opened in the last 6 weeks, we are trying hard to refine our processes & please everyone.
We had put a lot of thought into accessibility, however we are still in discussion to finalise access as it wasn’t built to specification. Unfortunately tables & chairs get moved regularly by guests & I sincerely apologise if there wasn’t clear access on arrival as we previously considered this & we will continue to work hard to make sure access works for everyone.
In relation to table numbers I appreciate your comments & we have conducted further training with the team so this doesn’t reoccur. We’ve changed from handing out numbers to set table plans to improve service.
