Criniti's Darling Harbour

A larger twin of the original Criniti's in Parramatta, this restaurant seats up to 480 patrons and sits in the centre of all action on the Harbour and overlooks Sydney's famous skyline and of course, Darling Harbour. The restaurant's open air terrace will give you spectacular views while you wine and dine.

The food. Where to start? Like their massive food and drinks menu, you'll be overwhelmed with choice. Pages and pages of delicious Italian fare traps the eyes when first looking at the menu. They have anything and everything here from BBQ ribs to wood-fired pizzas; from risottos to pastas and calzones to salads.

Food-wise, their pizza menu alone boasts over 55 choices. This is the only restaurant of its kind in Sydney to offer 1 metre pizzas with your choice of up to 3 varieties of toppings. Some restaurants compromise the quality of food with a large menu but Criniti's is not one of them. You will find everything on this menu original, fresh and mouth-wateringly delicious.

For those who prefer something other then pizza, there is a range of home made pastas which you can choose to go with their wide range of sauces. For seafood lovers, try their famous marinara sauce with mussels, calamari, vongole and tiger prawns, virgin oil and a hint of garlic in a napoletana sauce. Spice this up with some chilli and it might just be one of the best pastas you'll ever have. The steak menu features the same kind of "make your own combination" style as the pastas where diners can choose from their choice cut of meat and combine this with one of the many choices of sauce. You might try the funghi, a mushroom and cream sauce with a touch of garlic and white wine.

Mirroring the extensive number of mains is an equally extensive list of drinks and cocktails. Criniti's concept of a cocktail for many people served in a communal bowl is a unique and fun way for people to enjoy a drink between friends or couples. In addition, they offer a long list of reds, whites,

Crinitis is a large restaurant in Darling Harbour. I would suggest sticking to the pizzas in crinitis as they are the best on the menu. I'm not a fan of the pasta as much

Not bas Italian for a busy restaurant chain. Pizza is their main asset. Pasta can be a bit unreliable as are the meat dishes. Overall hearty , tasty italian but it wont be getting any chefs hats anytime soon. Can be noisy when busy. View is good.

Good atmosphere and views of the harbour at this restaurant. Perfect for large groups but you may have to wait a while depending on how busy the place is. Pretty affordable considering the location and consistent food. It's my safe bet dinner.

Great service. Open space and the view is wow! Good for a group function. Gnocchi was not nice a bit dry and chewy but the pizza was amazing. The Margarita is a must!

Slightly over rated as its an upgraded version of La Porchetta. I attended for a party where we payed $40 per head for a banquet, they were not stingy on the quantity especially when the huge pizza came out, however I’m just unsure of the quality. This is more of a quantity over quality place where the price point is a little over exaggerated for what you actually get. I did love how the waiting staff could communicate to each other over a walkie talkie in their ear and most are from Italy, this gives it authenticity.
