Criterion Hotel

This actually isn't a bad pub, if only because of the cool murals on the ceiling and the multitude of wall hangings on the wall, which I suspect is a staple of your typical Irish Pub (which is what the place is). I've been here a few times and it has always been reasonably quiet and the staff quite nice. I've even had some decent chats with some of the patrons while I have been watching a game of football and nursing a beer (and when I say football I am referring to that game played south of the Murrembidgee). They have a nice selection of beers on tap, and the prices aren't always that bad either, however the thing that I do think is really cool, and the reason that I would come back here again, are the cool murals on the ceiling. Oh, and the laid back atmosphere.

I came in here on Sunday and to my surprise it was just like a country bar in Ireland. The special was the roast of the day and it was spot on. The meat was cooked to perfection and the time I waited was very short. To top it all off there was an Irish band who played some traditional music for a few hours. It was a wonderful experience.

Had a great time in the criterion. The atmosphere was relaxed and I enjoyed drinks with friends. Will be making it my regular Friday evening bar from now on.

The food was well-presented and it all came out so quickly! I couldn't believe I got my steak in only 10 minutes. Great for busy people like myself.

Came in for a quick bite to eat and a couple pints and enjoyed sitting at the back window with a great view of the streets below. Friendly staff and fast, good service and always amazing food and drinks.
