Crookhaven Heads Tourist Park
An avid camper hubby and I are always on the lookout for new camping grounds to unwind and escape the City chaos. We recently camped at Crookhaven Heads and really enjoyed our stay. The grounds are huge so there is plenty of space to spread out. Unfortunately they do have a complete fire ban so it is best to bear that in mind if considering to camp in Winter as it gets very cold at night and with no fire it can be quite unpleasant if you are not fully prepared. Great facilities including bbq areas, a pool, kids playground and jumping pillow, reception desk with drinks and dvd hire, ample parking, secure with fences all around and a variety of shops 5 mins down the road. Whether you choose to hire a cabin or get back to nature with a camp site no doubt you will relax and unwind. One downfall is that I was under the impression that it was beachfront.
