After Kieth at manly ripped me off, by breaking engine bolts then trying to blame me "you took it home and broke the bolts yourself" then he cursed at me and i hung up thinking what Business does a dirty looking and filthy mouthed fool doing in Manly? after id paid him over $698.03 for the work, i lifted the hood and found the engine worse than wgen it went in..I then was recomended by a mate to go Darren at D And M automotive in Brooky, he effectively and efficiently commenced a thourgh inspection/diagnosis and gave my Blue slip which was timely after the Kieth had stuff around but he and his team were very professional, hard working and effective in their work plus they were good blokes and fun to do Business with. He fixed the damage by Kieth and gave my blue slip all for under 80 bucks, done within a hour of arriving. I am using D And M as my regular mechanics now and my hsv is now humming along fine. Called for a price check after another mechanic quoted me for a new alternator. 20% cheaper, dropped it in immediately after calling on a Saturday morning and they did it for same day pick up. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend and will definitely be back. Keep up the good work.

I was traveling to visit the grand child from Qld when the brakes went as we approached Manly! My son refused to let me drive the commodore any further until it had been in to the team at D&M. The car wasn't due for a service and had only done 45k since 2003, I asked them to check it over and give it a service. The holiday was saved and the cars brakes are perfect! Ran like a dream back to Qld. If it wasn't so far I would take it back for the next service. Price was right and friendly staff; highly recommend!

Was given Darren's details when I needed a pink slip that same day. Not only did he fit us in, he did it on the spot as we had our two children with us. Great experience the first time that i have now booked in for our service, tyres & break pads. Have recommended Darren to our friends and am glad to have found a great trust worthy mechanics in the area.

I have been taking my car to Darren for over 12 years and I would never use another mechanic. I had a flat battery once after picking up my car from the smash repairs and after getting a jump start, I rang D&M and Darren wasn't there, The nice young man who answered the phone told me not to worry come to the work shop and we will order you a battery. I was in and out of there in less than 30 mins. That included waiting for the delivery of the battery. I honestly couldn't thank him enough I was so stressed when I got there as I had 2 kids in the car and they sorted it all out for me. Now what mechanic would do that. Best of all when I go there Darren always asks how I am. Old fashion service.
