Cheap, cheerful and busy; this is an excellent market with a huge variety of produce and gift wares. There is literally everything here! It's definitely one of the cheapest markets I've been to recently! I got convinced to try a jam doughnut which was pretty awesome even though doughnuts are not my thing. A great place to shop for Christmas presents or before an overseas trip to the rellies!
If you're looking for that something a little unique to your Kiwi or Samoan roots with really cool old school styles and cultural patterns and words head to Isle A stall 16 and check out the great selections that they have to offer. They also have a stall up in the gold coast markets.
Check them out at either location or on their website
Great prices for fruit and veg and usually much better quality and lasts much longer than those at the supermarket - plus you have to try the hot jam donuts (80c each) and go to doughworks (I think thats what its called) and have a lamb, spinach and feta gozleme! They taste fantastic!
At Dandenong Market you will find everything but the Kitchen Sink....Though I havn't actually looked for one, so Don't know for sure! Anyway, from fresh fruit & Veggies, Clothes, CD's, DVD's and even second hand book shops....You're bound to come away with some great bargains!
