Have just changed all cars in my family to these guys after trying several shops in town. Dowsetts always freindly and do a great job, very thorough and lots of good advice on upcoming jobs at the next service too. They even check stuff that manufacturers say doesnt need to be checked. And seem exceptionally fair on price. Very happy - you have just made a staunch advocate

Our family has 4 vehicles and we all take them to Dowsetts for servicing. The service costs are detailed and fair.
Rates were triple any other mechanic in town. They tried to convince me that I needed to replace a seatbelt and that it would cost $600 because they had to order it from sydney. I checked with repco, yes they did have to order it from sydney but it would only cost $120! I replaced it myself, took about 10 minutes. The staff is very unfriendly and they will add any number of things on to the bill no matter what you bring your car in for. Stay away from this place!
I have never had any problems with these guys and changed to them as I was getting ripped off elsewhere. They have always been fair, always friendly, and provide a professional service. Always feel I get good value for money
