De-Pho Vietnamese & Chinese Restaurant

This is fantastic food and authentic and reasonably priced so I'm not sure what the other reviewers are on about. I haven't visited for a few months so I'll check it out again soon to see if standards are still good.

Terrible service, dirty tables and guaranteed to get yelled at by the management at some point but I keep going back for the food which is really good if you know what to order. The pho is great as is the crispy chicken and pork. Everything else is pretty average at best. Despite all this, I will continue to go back for the pho and crispy chicken.

Having seen a long queue waiting behind a sign saying "take away" I assumed they weren't going to sit inside the restaurant. So I skipped the line and asked for a table for two. Immediately, the management staff ran up and screamed at me, asking whether I was blind or not to the queue behind the "take away" sign. They yelled at me to sit in a tiny table outside and wait for my turn. I turned around and decided to just walk off. Having given generous tips to them before this, the same person wouldn't even bother to look up.



This was the last time I visited this place, but before that, the food although is quick, is not the best. The portions are small and noodles or chicken can be seriously tough textured and over cooked. The food is not up to a standard that can compensate for the horrible and rude attitude.
