My kids and I really love this place. Previously it was always closed after school but now that there are new owners it stays open till about 4. Now we visit after school each afternoon and grab afternoon tea. The kids love the sausage rolls and there's a great variety of fresh bakery items like donuts and finger buns.
I have only recently found out about the bakehouse and since visiting have returned many times. There is a great range of bakery items that are fresh and also very reasonably priced. I really love the huge variety of pies and pasties they have and have been popping in on most of my lunch breaks to get one. The staff are very helpful and friendly and its just a great local place to visit.
I have been visiting this bakery for a few years, at first the customer service was reasonable and the food was pretty fresh, good for a local bakery. Recently, they have decided to hire new staff, and the customer service was horrible. They advertise fresh bread on every wall of their block but when we get inside and purchase the bread, the staff gives us stale, dry bread. Not happy, and definitely not going back.
