I can't say that this is one of my favourite gardens that I have visited, and it does seem to be a bit overgrown in parts, but it still does its job with a variety of plants and flowers scattered about, as well as a number of buildings (including a Terrerium, which is now free, but you used to have to pay to get in here). During the summer months it stays open until later, and they even have performances of Shakespeare here (though I have only been to it once). Still, despite it's set backs, it is still a pretty decent, and quite large, botanical garden, and it is a great place to spend an afternoon taking in the variety of plants that have been collected here. Okay, I haven't been here a huge amount of times, but then again it is on the other side of the city from where I usually pass through, but I did visit every so often (even if it was just a short cut to get to the carpark next to the zoo).
