A Bit disapointing.
The canteen shop could get some more healthy selection in food and could do with a good clean.
Huge Ant problem in the outside grass area.
Thank you for your feedback.
We currently have a range of salads and sandwiches available however, we are always looking to expand and vary our options while meeting the demand of our patrons.
The cleaning and pest control companies will be assessing/actioning the ant issue this week.

I had went to Des Renford for many years, but once I retired, I would want a senior's rate, not a full price membership. Shouldn't Randwick Council consider a pensioner rate? I did do the acqua arobics for a time, but I want to use the gym and not every day, so $22 a week is a huge commitment from a pension income. Getting to a greater age, the service should still be made available to over 65s. I would like Randwick Council to consider the oldies; then we can overlook the fact that there is no shower or toilets for the gym; only down the stairs and along the noisy corridor for swimmers. And overlook the fact that quite often you can't get a car spot because of bike riders parking in that car space and student activites on regular days. Its a gym geared up for swimmers, and students and people well under 65.
Good Morning,
We do have a concession rate for our facility membership of $16.70 per week.
Our concession rate is available to holders of Pensioner Concession Card, Health Care Card and Commonwealth Seniors Health Cards.
Our apologies if you were given the incorrect information above.
Should you have any queries or would like more information, please email us at [email protected] or call 9093 6300.
Kind Regards,
DRLC
I became a member of Des Renford Leisure Centre after hearing about the new gym opened upstairs. Previously, I had only visited for one off trips to use their pool facilities.
After a free trial, I found that the gym was easily worth the price of a membership (aorund $22 a week) - with new machines, equipment and functioanl training spaces (+1 stars). You also get to take part in any number of free classes as a part of a timetable, which I use to take Yoga twice a week. You also get access to all the pool facilities as a part of your membership (+2 ...read more
Disgraceful service, after paying $1000's a year in swim fee's for kids the cafe refuses to give plastic cups for kids to share drinks. When pushed the arrogant server asks for .50 cents for a 2 cent cup!
