devour cafe patisserie

Went here for a Saturday breakfast. Staff were initially friendly, I ordered a bagel with cream cheese, smoked salmon and capers, and asked if the price would go down if I didn't want the egg and avocado as well, they assured me it would. According to the prices of the sides when ordered separately this would take it down by $6. I asked for confirmation, and, again they agreed. I was really happy. When my meal arrived I was upset to realise that the cream cheese also had chives and onion mixed through. I am intolerant to onion, and usually always make this known, but as it was not specified in the menu, it escaped my mind, and I simply forgot to mention it. I took it up to explain, and the staff member was immediately rude towards me, saying I should have told them before I ordered, and that just because it doesn't say it in the menu doesn't mean it's not going to be in there. another brilliant experience for breakfast enjoyed with friends.
i love the malteser milk shake... real malteesers in it floating around :) YUM YUM bubblegum.
the menu is changing to whats in season which is what i love most about this place. the cakes and sweets all change as often as they can. This makes the place more appealing to me because i can continually go back and there is something different to try. nothing worse than going to the same place for the same ol' boring cakes and food. I love it! and i'm sure every one else will too

I have yet to eat brunch here or even sit down for something yummy and sweet but I did drop in to buy some maracons and check the place out since I was in the area. Much bigger space then their dessert bar down at Prospect. Still the same yummy desserts plus more. Looking forward to have brunch here some time!

i absolutely love the staff's friendly approach and so welcoming. the coffee is smooth and delicious. the salted caramel cake is amazing and is so far my fav thing to eat here... ohhh maybe i really like the breakfasts too!! but seriously... who could have a favourite!! :) de-vine!
