Dicey Riley's Hotel

First up, it's great that this is open til 2.30 for lunch - when you're too busy to stop earlier, it's good to still be able to get a real feed rather than fast food.
We ordered steak, pie & a garlic chicken dish. The garlic chicken sauce was absolutely delicious and went fantastically with their really crunchy tasty thick chips. I could eat just a bowl of chips with that sauce!
The steak, although huge, was too chewy which was unfortunate.
The pie was tasty and had good chunks of meat.
Seating has got great character, and wasn't busy at all at lunch time. Staff were friendly and not stressed about the fact it was 2.15 when we ordered! One negative was that we could see into the kitchen and so could see them pouring the sauce out of plastic takeaway containers - not the greatest look.
But a solid tasty meal for an average price.

Great food with excellent service. All the staff were super friendly and even did table service for drinks. It's an older pub that has kept all its charm- great atmosphere will definitely be going back.

It's an older pub. It's not bad but there are a few different people. They have great live bands!

For some quiet drinks with some friends, it's hard to go past, "Dicey's" boasts friendly staff, Cheap Guinness and great service. The atmosphere is excellent, and it's never overly busy...except on maybe St. Patricks day. When it's AWESOME.
