We have not long returned from a trip organised by FNQ Travel to Cape York for 12 days with Heritage Tours of Cairns. We found them to be very helpful with all details of our trip and would recommend them to anyone wishing to book a trip. Mum, my sister and I took a FNQ travel 5 day trip from the tip of Cape York to Cairns in July. The booking process was quick and very efficient with all queries being answered very quickly.
The trip covered alot of ground but gave us a real taste for the Cape with plenty of stops at some really beautiful spots including some amazing swimming holes. Our guide was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to get us all back to our individual destinations on our return to Cairns even though we were running a bit late. His passion for the countryside came through in all his stories about the country we were passing through. We were one of 3 families on the trip.
The whole trip finished off a great family holiday for us and I would recommend it, especially for those who want to see Cape York and the "tip"but don't have much time.
