Don Camillo restaurant opened its doors in 1955 and is still as popular as ever almost sixty years later. The original period features give the restaurant a warm rustic feel. Photographic memorabilia covers the walls, showing moments from the last fifty years in the sporting world, which has been closely followed by generations of patrons here. There are two levels of dining to choose from, both offering a generous selection of good value, Italian cuisine.

The cafe is overflowing with photo frames on basically every wall. It does provide a nostalgic feeling but it just doesn't allow your eyes to rest as there's too much going on. They have a standard Italian menu and the pricing is reasonable too. I really enjoyed my Penne Matriciana which had the right amount of sauce making it not too dry nor too runny. The Scallopine Con Funghi was delicious and the mushrooms just topped it off (pun intended).
Don Camillo is a great place to go for a tasty Italian meal. Their pasta is delicious, with just the right amount of sauce, and the pizza is wonderful. It's all made with fresh ingredients. The service was a bit of a let down, we were waiting quite a while for our meal, and the waiter wasn't as friendly as those at other restaurants.
