Dosa Hut

Biryani is wat that got to be ordered here. Try their chciken and chicken 65 varities. Dosa s good but not great so I can't give full marks for that.

We had takeaway from here a few nights ago for the first time. We felt like something a little different from the usual northern Indian cuisine that we are accustomed to ordering. We ordered 2 somosa, chicken biryani, and a customize dosa which egg, lamb, mushroom, onion, maneer, cheese, chilli. All came with a number of sauce. The service was prompt and very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal and each of the dishes ordered. Definitely would like to come back and try other dishes on the menu and recommend to others this restaurant based in the hub of what is now known as little india.

The dishes are made fresh and it is worth eating in instead of doing a take away. If you do not take spice well then let them know to make it mild only. We also did some catering from them and on the catering side there was a no issues.

I decided to give this place a try after eating the same boring places every weekend. Their cheese pancake was nice and was full of cheese flavour. A massive tumbs up! I also tried the chefs special pancake where they mix lamb, chicken and beef into a pancake. I could not tell the lamb from the beef as they were all minced meat and cannot comment on whether the ingredients they used were fresh. But nonetheless it tasted awesome. Price was reasonable. I would definitely come back in the future.

Went to Dosa Hut over the weekend as I have been meaning to come here for a long time. It's on Barkly Street, West Footscray on a busy strip of other Indian stores. The store is not hard to see and very welcoming. They serve a very particular style of traditional Indian pancakes known as Dosa's amongst other IndoChinese dishes such as fried rice, curries and noodles. I tried the egg Dosa with paneer and the serving size was incredibly generous, which was to my liking - only $12.95 and it came with three dipping sauces. My friend got the Chef special Dosa which came with lamb, beef and paneer curry wrapped in the middle. The mango lassi was also delicious.

The service here was very friendly and notably, the ceiling has these mini led lights which changes colours and so resembles a starry night sky which I found amusing.
I will definitely be back here.
