I had chosen Double D Driving school for my daughter because of the positive reviews I had read and was glad that I did. Dave was very thorough in preparing her for her driving test and for driving safely in the future, more so than the driving instructor that my older daughter had. He could communicate effectively with both her as a learner and us as parents of a learner. He was punctual at all times and taught with patience and a sense of humour. You could tell that he really cared about his students and their safety. We highly recommend Dave as a driving instructor!
Thanks for the great review Lyn it was a pleasure teaching Tara she always gave good feed back when she was learning which made my job easy and you yourself took on board what we needed to achieve with Tara so the transformation from L plate to P plate was a smooth Journey.

Absolutely brilliant driving instructor. Good humoured, patient, and passionate about what he does. Extremely good at explaining how to accomplish difficult tasks and extremely good at preparing you for the driving test. I cannot recommend him enough, a very very clear 5/5 stars.
I don't understand how David got so many positive reviews. He made me feel quite uncomfortable throughout my driving lessons.I went in with no confidence, thinking that David could assist me in gaining some. However when I made a mistake he was unsupportive and I felt even more nervous when driving.

Passed first time!
I've had my learners license for 9 years but finally decided to take lessons and ultimately go for my Provisional license. I chose Double D driving school as online reviews indicated that David was the perfect driving instructor for anyone and everyone. David is reasonably priced, professional and friendly. He uses lesson time effectively and I built skill and confidence fast. David let me know quickly when he felt I was ready to book the test and I paid the fee to use his car for the test and arranged an hour lesson beforehand.
I highly recommend doing this as you'll have much more confidence going into the test with a 100% test suitable vehicle.
David also helped to calm my nerves down at the transport office with his cheerful manner too.
