Dr Goh maybe a very well respected optometrist but he is a very horrible doctor who only cares about money and reputation rather than caring for his patents. We waited in the blistering cold, while we were waiting my palms were sweaty, knees weak, arms were heavy, and there was vomit on my sweater already mums spagetti. AND HE DIDNT CARE
I agree with the previous reviewer. Waited 1.5 hrs to see him for only approx 5 mins. Didn't go into detail or take time to explain much about the condition I had. When I told him of another eye problem I had he told me to come back and have a different test but did not explain what the test was for or how it might help. Wasn't really interested in my symptoms at all I felt. Just wanted to move on to next patient.
Not very emphatic doctor according to me.
wasted my time and money.

Dr Goh may be a well respected Ophthalmologist, but his appointment booking system needs to be reviewed and revised. It is disappointing that when I arrived at his rooms with my 80 year old mother for her 11.15am appointment, more than 40 chairs were already occupied by people waiting to see the specialist. It was more than 2 hours before my mother saw Dr Goh and she was in the room with him for exactly 2 minutes and 41 seconds - I timed it on my iPhone. How can this be acceptable? A waiting room full of mostly elderly patients forced to wait 2 hours for a 2 minute consultation. This is just bad management and poor organisation. My mother has refused to return for another appointment with this specialist.
Dear Debra
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are sorry to read about your mother's long wait time to see Dr Goh. We do try to keep to appointment times for patients. However, there are delays at times to see our patients. Please accept our apologies for that.
We tried to look up your surname in our patient database after reading this review. Unfortunately, we were unable to find anyone with the last name Ruggiero in our booking system. We also looked in the medical appointments book between January 20-25 2015 to double check this and we were still unable to find someone with that surname.
We were wondering if you could please contact us on (08) 6144 3033 or [email protected] to confirm your mother's surname and contact details, as well as the date of this appointment?
Kind regards,
Murdoch Ophthalmology team
