As an osteopath, Samantha's passion for health and wellbeing have led her to develop a strong focus on finding the cause not just getting rid of the pain. An interest in women's health, pre/post natal have allowed Samantha to develop her skills in these areas.

Osteopathy is a manual therapy addressing entirely the body's structures, of muscles, nerves, joints, bones, lymphatic & vascular system and various connective tissues.

The philosophy which sets osteopaths apart from other modalities are the underpinnings of an osteopath.
1. The body is a unit of mind, body and spirit
2. Structure and function are reciprocally interrelated
3. The body is capable of self maintenance, self repair and self healing
4. Rational treatment is based on application of the above principals.
Osteopathic treatment is a scientifically validated form of treatment, and is recognised by the World Health Organisation and various international medical journals.
Specialties

Since completing her qualifications, Samantha has gone on to complete further post-professional qualifications in remedial / sports massage, Cranial, myofascial release, trigger point dry needling, Gua Sha, Reiki, workcover accreditation, neuromusculoskeletal rehabilitation and FMS certification. Strong focus on NMS rehabilitation and redefining movement patterns.
