Duffy Bros

I was very disappointed last week when I received a flyer from a group outside of the supermarket. The flyer stated that Duffy's was not paying their staff. This is outrageous considering I have been a loyal and consistent customer over the years. I often bought snacks for church group there and I can assure you I will not be doing that again.

I find the staff at Duffy\'s in the Oxford Arcade to be incredibly rude. How about you say hello, and pay attention to customer you\'re. Bloody disgusting behaviour.

A recent wander to the shops of Darlinghurst during lunch led me to Duffys. I was surprised at the vast variety of groceries, fruits and vegetables and fresh items offered by this independent supermarket. I found the prices really reasonable given the recent price hikes at the major chains. I wouldn't necessarily commit to a full shop there but to pick up smaller items - definitely. It is quite hidden down the back of the Arcade and bar a little sign on the main road you wouldn't even know it was there. Friendly service and overall pleasant experience :)

Little supermarket that has everything. Even organic foods and gluten free bread which isn't easy to come by.

Same problem with a piece of chicken that was off. Not only I did not get a refund for the meat, but I got spoken rudely even though I was very calm and congenial.

I'll go to Thomas Dux instead, a couple of blocks away...
