Dundons Removals

This is my second move in 12 months. I used a rival company the first time who took 2.5 hours to move my furniture. For my second move, Dundons Removals quoted me $150/hour. I thought I'd try to save some money and give them a go. What a mistake. Dundons were almost an hour late starting then ended up taking 5.5 hours to do the move. I don't know why the big difference because the amount of furniture was roughly the same, the truck looked around the same size and move distance was about 15 minutes drive for both occasions. Also, thanks to Dundons, my fridge has a dent, my coffee table is scratched and the glass door of my cabinet is cracked.

Showed up more than 2hrs late.

Charged me for 3 men + truck instead of 2 which is what I booked.

Took way to long to move my items.

Unprofessional, slow, and rude.

Were not contactable by phone.

Do not use this company.

DO NOT USE DUNDON"S REMOVALS! They were 2 3/4 hours late, full of excuses, rude, very rough with our furniture, & complained constantly if items had to go up 1 flight of stairs. They also asked me to provide water & cold soft drink, as they didn't seem prepared for a days work. The management was not apologetic, rude on the phone, & then would not answer my calls at all. I did receive a $25 discount for my troubles, & was told I was very lucky as refunds are not company policy! I'd spent $6 on the soft drink to stop the 'workers' complaining & was not reimbursed! DO NOT USE DUNDON"S REMOVALS!

Sean Id like to thank you for the excellent service last Friday, 28th January, to support our move from Goodwin Terrace. Your employees worked exceptionally hard to make up for a late arrival (3 hours) and swiftly cleared the house, taking care in their removal of all our items. Further, when we arrived at the storage facility thy had negotiated the use of a smaller unit (given the volume of our possessions) allowing us to save some money. They even took care of arranging the padlocks for us. All in all I was very impressed. I will be coming back to you, when we have found permanent accommodation, to assist us in our move-in. Please pass my thanks onto the team who helped us move.

I would never recommend them to anyone, Not only was the van 2 hours late (they showed up at 4;30pm on Saturday) sent a truck to small to the job, promised you be over to sort the matter out within 30 mins which they never came over. We never had such bad service and in the end we hired a truck to do it ourselves. Really bad service.
