East West Design sold me a daybed 3 months ago as being all weather for $1800, 3 months later the mattress cover deteriorated and fell apart. I asked for a full refund or an all weather cover replacement as discussed at sale. They will provide a similar non-weather proof cover but say I have to pay an extra several hundred dollars for a weather proof one!! The daybed is advertised currently for $1100 and that's not a sale price. They refuse to answer my emails now. Have had friends who have had damaged products delivered also and they refuse to make good. Be careful buying here, poor quality, worse service and no accountability for faulty goods.
BEWARE:::I recently purchased the Dalkeith Concrete outdoor table and within weeks the top had cracked without being used. East West Design on this occasion exchanged the top. Unfortunately, again within weeks of replacement the top had cracked in the harsh Perth heat HOWEVER, this time EAST WEST DESIGN have not been as accommodating. Given the lack of confidence I now have with their staff and stock I requested a refund. Their response has been silent to say the least. I have formally lodged a complaint with Consumer Protection and would suggest anyone else purchasing a product from this company think again.
As a local South-Fremantle resident, I pass both door's to this establishment on my morning walk each day. Decided to venture inside the Aladdin's-cave-esque building today, with my 3 year-old Grandson in tow.
Merchandise; gorgeous, floor-staff; gob-smacking!!!
My Grandson sat on a leather sofa, and a sales staff approached to ask me to keep him off the furniture, as the floor was dusty and would stain the goods.
WONT be back to the huge, void-of-customers (quel surprise!) warehouse.
