We had a wonderful lunch at Ebony and Ivory, the atmosphere and wait staff were so lovely. I had the Thai green curry chicken and it was great. My boyfriend had the tortellini and he couldnt stop raving. The food was amazing and the bill only can to $35 for the 2 of us. Going back again this week!
Once considered one of Geelong's finest boutique restaurants, Ebony and Ivory has reopened after a 4 year hiatus. With a great new location and a modern relaxed feel, owner/chef Stuart North will once again delight your taste buds with his culinary creations. The dinner menu, though compact, still holds great variety. Ample tasting plates with delectable homemade dips, terrine's and juicy olives. Tender eye fillet, fresh Hapuka and ever so slowly cooked pork belly that melts in your mouth. A carefully selected wine list comprising some of the most popular from Bellarine to Marlborough, top off a truly fine dining experience.
Desserts are divine, caramelised citrus tart served with marinated strawberries or try a truly unique cheesecake with a franjelico affogato!
E&I is open for breakfast and lunch 6 days a week with gourmet dinner on Friday nights and private functions on Saturdays.
Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
Had a brilliant night at new Ebony&Ivory, in Moorabool St, the old Pottage building which has a great feel to it. The entrees and mains were all exquisitely cooked and presented,Chef and owner Stuart has still got it, followed him from his previous restaurant in Gheringhap St. From bread on our plates to dessert our 3 courses with our wine was worth every cent. Service and communication were excellent, couldnt fault it.... see you back there for my 50th!!
