While Del Punto plays second fiddle to the other tapas bar in The Spot - the Spanish Fly - Del Punto arguably serves up food just as good. The interior is a mix of southern spain and moody boudoir creating for an ambience that is both authentic but a little bit of fun. The food is good and service speedy. Waiters are happy for a chat and have good knowledge to reccomend what dishes go best with what.
Nomad's Thoughts: Tasty tapas that provides a quieter but just as good alternative to the Spanish Fly. If you like your tapas and are in the Randwick area, El Bulli Del Punto is definately worth the punt.
Food was tasty but i agree with other reviews that it way too salty! I must have drunk 3L of water on my return home. Also, although we were served by seemingly friendly wait staffs the food was brought out super quick (not necessarily a bad thing) and overall it felt like we were just a dollar sign to them. My husband and I took 2 very fussy friends here for dinner and they absolutely loved every dish that came out! I even got the guys to try the sangria, and they were converted! The service is fast and friendly, and you have to finish off with the churros. They are to die for! The only negative would be that it is small and cramped, but it's worth looking past that as the food more than makes up for it.
