Serious MexicanEl Topo is providing a unique experience to Sydney, a tasty spin on Mexican street food with a fine dining twist. Chef Matthew Fitzgerald heads up the team producing a menu that will serve to re-define Mexican cuisine as we know it. Inspired by the barren, yet culturally rich South-west region of Oaxaca (Wahaca) Fitzgerald has assembled a team and menu to tickle your tastebuds.
Complimenting this we have one of Australias best bar teams - Luke Redington (Eau de vie/Bar Manager of the Year), Tim Phillips (Hemmesphere/World Class Bartender of the Year) & Connor Sainsbury-Canham (The Spire Hotel, NZ)
El Topo is a smorgasbord of visual delight with our renovations consisting of 100% hand made materials and art pieces - with the majority direct from Mexico itself.

Always have a blast up here. Absolutely love their fish taco and chicken taco and their guac dip entree. Cocktails are a bit on the pricier side especially their sangria which is quite a small serving, but their 3 deadly tequila tasting was too hectic. Service could be better (some waitstaff kept forgetting to put through orders) but overall its a fun place to be,
