I have flown with Emirates in the pass on a long haul flight to Europe and found the experience overall quite plesant and how they work with family traveling with young children. The only main downfall i have with their flights is as soon as there is any sign of turblance, the flight crew would rush to bassinet and ask you to take your baby out and have it removed. The was rather frustrating when anyone with a young baby would understand how challenging it may be to put your baby to sleep in a foreign environement. I understand the entire saftey concept, however flying with other carrier I have not had to do this, apart from ensuring that your baby is strapped while in the bassinet. Overall, the service is quite good and attentive.
I am a frequent Emirates flier and a member of their Skywards rewards programme. I choose to fly Emirates, even though they are a little bit more expensive, for the quality of service. Through the booking process, changing flights and everything else they are great. The Emirates staff are quick to help and you never have a long wait for someone to take the call. The flights, however, have quickly deteriorated in quality. I have been flying the same route for almost 10 years, 4 times a year and have watched their attention to detail and quality control decrease significantly. Emirates have certainly lowered their standards from when they were a new airline taking over the skies. My most recent flight is the best example. I am a Silver Skywards member and had booked my flight just under a year in advance. As soon as I was able, I checked in online and chose my seat, an aisle location next to the front of the plane. We fly between Sydney and Munich and have tried 3 different Carriers and Emirates has by far the best service, sure you could fly cheaper but with more stop overs and older plains. Due to the use of the skyward card we did get upgraded once to business class and unfortunately it was the best ever, unfortunately because know you never want to fly economy again..... Service is great and all bookings can be done online or via hotline number. We made some alterations and they have been always very helpful. Only 4 stars as sometimes its hard to understand them properly on the phone and they could be a bid cheaper in the main season, other than that excellent in food and on board entertainment.
I always fly with Emirates and their customer service never fails me. I usualy book my flights by calling them directly, phone service is fantastic and helpful and so easy to make, paying via credit card without surcharges makes it even easier. Their check in customer service is also great, flight attendants are always nice, I have flown in economy and bussines class and they are both great. Overall, I am staying with Emirates as I am one very happy customer.
