I went here during my lunch break one time to get an eyebrow wax and I wish I hadn't. The girl I had ended up burning a bit of my skin under my brow. The wax felt hot when she put it on and when she ripped it off on my right eyebrow I knew there was something wrong, then I had a look at the mirror after and noticed it a little red.. she said it's normal, it should be fine. I knew it wasnt.. i got home and you could see the burn.. Never going back here again. I've had bad experiences with other Essential Beauty places before this one, that time was my last time going to any of their stores.
if you were burnt you would have jumped and screamed in pain!! just like you would if you touched a hot oven, wax is supposed to be of a high temp. its called skin lifting and can be caused by a number of reasons (streching the skin too much, wax too thick etc) including reasons that arent the therapist fault but the fault of the client, (medications, lotions, sunburn etc) as its not known what reason the skin lifting occured from i think you should do some research first
I have been to essential beauty northpark quite afew times. it has recently been taken over by new management, it feels like a much nicer environment. Since i have been going to this salon i have not had any problems and i quite like the staff there. I would recommend this store to many of my friends... Thankyou
