Ettalong Hong Kong Restaurant

We arrived to be met by much put out staff who sat us down without so much as a welcoming smile. One of us had to get up and ask if we were going to get an entre after waiting half and hour. We waited another 15mins before the entre came without so much as a word or a smile. We then sat for another 30mins, before one of us had to ask again if the main course was coming. This consisted of some meat and vegetables swimming in an overload of sauce, slapped onto a plate. Inferior food, Poor service and definitely somewhere I would never return, nor recommend. A very disappointing night out.

Why would anyone want to go to a restaurant that takes over 1 hour to prepare a meal and when you get there find that it is still not ready and it will take another 30 minutes. Plus the you get the garbage story that they are busy, when the restaurant is half full. Maybe a need for Customer Service Training is needed for the people of this restaurant. As a local you showed why so many business will go out of business. Bad Service, Bad customer service, bad everything.

Fantastic food @ a great price. Service is friendly. BYO. Book first if you are going in a large group as it gets busy on Saturday nights.

Nice and clean restaurant and plenty of parking in side car-park.
