Eumundi Markets
World famous for its size and the sheer volume of things you can get here, no trip to the Sunshine Coast would be complete without a wander through the Eumundi Markets. Eumundi becomes overrun with people out to find that special item as the whole town transforms to cope with the extra patronage the markets bring every Wednesday and Saturday.
Jewellery, food, music, arts and crafts, garden gnomes, clothes and pretty much anything else you can think of is sure to be tucked away here somewhere.
With so many stalls selling such a massive variety of products make sure you leave the better part of a day to explore the one of the Southern Hemisphere's biggest markets.

Nice to see some things don't change. Eumundi Markets still rock!!
It was a blistering hot day when I visited here recently, but most of the markets are under cover or shaded by trees. Still recommend wearing a hat though.
All the stalls were filled with quality wares, clever homemade ideas and scrumptious looking food. Everyone we encountered was friendly. The walkways and amenities were kept clean. Parking was luck of the draw. Heaps of cafe's within close walking distance if you prefer to get away from the bustle of the markets for a while.
We even found a stall that we purchased garden ornaments from fifteen years ago! Now the gentleman's son runs the stall. How good is that!
I doubt anyone could leave Eumundi Markets without purchasing something. Totally recommend!
Definitely still a go-to place on the sunshine coast. Only 20mins from Hastings St in Noosa itself, it has a really wide variety of giftware etc.
You need to be in a shopping mood to go here, don't expect cheap 'lucky dip' type of stalls. Quality handmade and organic wares.
