Eungella Mountain Edge Escape is a small privately owned establishment, perched high in the Clarke Mountain Ranges, just 80 km West of Mackay, Queensland, Australia (travel by sealed road). Situated 2,400 feet above sea level, the views overlooking the Pioneer Valley are absolutely breathtaking!

Our 1 & 2 bedroom self contained holiday accommodation cabins are perfect for a romantic weekend, family holiday, or simply for those seeking a quiet and relaxing getaway.

Close proximity to Eungella National Park, Hotel, restaurants, store, cafe, rainforest walking trails, Platypus observation area, bird watching, look-outs and camping.

All self contained holiday accommodation cabins feature reverse cycle air-conditioning, ceiling fans, private balcony with views and covered carport.

Reasonable rates. One bedroom cabins start from only $ 120.00 (single/double). Disabled facilities available in family cabin.

Explorers can experience over 20 km of majestic sub-tropical rainforest walking trails. A variety of short walks are available, catering to all fitness levels. For the more serious and adventurous hiker, the Mackay Highlands Great Walk offers a 5 day trek.

With over 227 recorded bird species, including the Eungella Honeyeater (endemic to Eungella), Eungella National Park is a haven for bird lovers!

Eungella Dam is perfect for the fishing, camping and boating enthusiast (fishing permit required).The freshwater dam is stocked with Sooty Grunter, Barramundi, Saratoga and Sleepu cod. Fishing permits can be purchased from most boat & tackle stores, or Melba house, Marian. Eungella Dam is located approximately 30km from Eungella township (travel along partially sealed and unsealed road).

1.5 hour drive to Coalfields and 2 hrs to Whitsundays and Airlie Beach.
