Europcar

We are tourists from abroad, 1st time in Alice Springs, going to Ulura and King's Canyon. We got offered a damaged car with no navigation. When we ask if we can get a solution as it is our 1st time the female employee of Europcar helping us was very harsh and unfriendly, only saying no or you need to pay extra. No re-assurance or putting at ease. When we got irritated by constantly hearing 'no' I raised my voice asking to give a solution more thought (no inappropriate words said). Then she grabbed the car keys and said to us she cancelled our rental agreement and told us to go away. We have never been treated so bad! We were totally flabbergasted and intimidated. She was not willing to de-escalate, nor let us speak with her manager. We were forced to go to another rental agency and incur a lot of extra costs! Not 'friendly' staff at all!!!!!

Staff here reflect the spirit of Alice: friendly relaxed fair priced understanding service. Disadvantage is there's not many staff (?1), so it can take time.
