I've done personal training, boot camp and now online sessions with Exercise 101. Tom always takes the time to explain everything clearly to ensure everyone understands the movements, focusing on correct form and technique to make sure you are activating and working the correct muscle, and not only maxing out reps or lifting heavy. And for those who are new, Tom always offers options to cater for all ability levels (and access to equipment for online classes). Not only is he an excellent trainer, but he's super friendly and always makes the session enjoyable! Highly recommended!
I trained with Tom for 2 years (then I moved). We trained 3 times a week (incl 1 session of kickboxing) and then bootcamp on Saturday.
Tom is an incredible trainer and the best one I have ever had. He is always punctual, every class is prepared and well organised and importantly I saw results - improvements in my form and physique. With Kickboxing, he really set strong foundations that I continued to build on with him. Same with strength training - focusing on technique before increasing weights to minimise any injuries. I found my mobility really improved when running as well!
I thoroughly enjoyed training with Tom and would 100% recommend him for any and all your fitness needs. He is committed, dedicated, flexible and can tailor his approach to your fitness goals! I only wish I could continue training with Tom!!

Tom was recommended by a friend 6 years ago. Since then, I never had the need to look elsewhere as he genuinely cares for the individual members. He explains and demonstrates the right techniques, ensuring we are doing it correctly before he allows us to move on with the next move. If we're injured, he'll always have alternative moves for us, so no excuses??.
He checks in on us during the week, making sure we are on the right track for our nutrition, as well as recommending the best burgers, desserts and snacks.
Tom also gives back to the members by taking us out on public holidays to sand dunes, hiking, rock climbing and gives extra training to prepare for obstacle course and running events. Tom and the team makes Exercise 101 a warm and friendly place because if you miss a session, you'll have FOMO.
