We have been in our house for over 2 years now and couldn't be happier! A bit of back and forth initially getting our finance. That said, Our consultant was great, It all happened in good time and we absolutely love our finished home! A great place to bring up our kids.
Wow the difference a month makes, our bricking has been completed and gyprock has been done we are now in lock up!! Our site Supervisor has been fantastic over this past month always keeping in contact with us. Hopefully if everything goes to plan we should be in the house in roughly 8 weeks. Was a slow start but would so recommend Fairmont Homes.
Fairmont Homes have been fantastic over the last 2 months. We are now 2 days away from Practical Completion. Our Site Supervisor has been fantastic with keeping in contact with us and we have been able to go into the house while the trades were there and have a look at what they have done. Lets hope our walk through goes just as smooth Friday and we should have keys late next week. Oh so exciting now the fun part to get packing and moving.
We are currently in the process of Building our first home with Fairmont Homes. I have found them to be slow!! I'm not sure if it's just the fact that we are out in the country but our slab went down at the start of November 2013 and our bricks only just started going up yesterday!! They have said we are still on schedule for handover in June but when speaking to the neighbours tradie he said no way will we be in, in June!!! This makes it so much more frustrating!! I have been happy with all the work done so far there have been a few minor problems with poring the shower the wrong way around but nothing that can't be fixed. As for customer service there isn't much after you sign up. We have received hardly any calls from our site supervisor and any calls we make take forever to get returned. I found the office staffs extremely professional. I found the guy at the display homes professional and very up fornt and honest. But i fuond the maintance department a joke. I would never in a million years build with fairmont again. Once your signed up don't expect any phone calls unless you owe money and when you do have a question give it a month of 2 before you expect a return call. I have juts built my second home with devine and could not fault them one little bit.
