I came to this Indo Chinese restaurant for lunch, my coleague informed me they specialise in Nasi goreng(Inonesian fried rice). I ordered the babi special(fried rice with bbq pork) A tasty Nasi goreng with fish balls challots and fried egg, although it was missing the accompanying pickled vegetables. Stop by, if you are after fried rice for lunch.
Whilst the decor and service (and basically everything else) might be less than satisfactory, Fajar has been famous with their authentic Indonesian Chinese meals that serve many students and residents nearby -- and having been trading for many years now, they do really care about their food. Try their classic "nasi campur" (rice with egg, barbeque pork, sliced sausage and satay served with sweet sauce), or the popular fried rice noodle with gravy that never fail to satisfy.
