Found in the Sydney suburb of Auburn, Farouk El Bahsa & Sons is a quality retailer of Lebanese sweets and pastries.
We have a massive range of biscuits, chocolate and baklava, but our mafrouki with ashtar is a favourite combining a dough base, cotta cream, roasted almonds and pistachio's, among other things to create s subtle yet flavoursome treat.
The cotta cream is made fresh from 100% milk on site and features in many of our creations.

Oh. My. ***. If you haven't been here then you are seriously missing out. Especially if you are a foodie! The syrupy goodness in the semolina cakes are to die for - dollop a good helping of double cream & serve with a cuppa and afternoon tea is sorted! The little bakery has a cornucopia of Lebanese treats to try, all like momma made! Can't believe I've not been to this little gem sooner! Carbs? What carbs?!
