Being a member of a professional body that upholds a code of ethics is important to me as a financial planner and I've been a part of the FPA since 2001, holding their Affiliate designation.
The FPA offer local, state and national support to financial planners with ongoing training and education through workshops, webinars and conferences.
They also actively promote a Financial Literacy week and run the Ask a Planner initiative on an annual basis.
