The discipline, mental training and varied techniques of First Tae kwon-do also provide the grounds for engendering in the practitioner a strong sense of confidence, fortitude, compassion, humility and resolve. It is this vital conditioning that separates the true practitioner from the one who has mastered only the physical aspects of the martial art.
Having such a busy job , First Tae Kwon Do not only teaches me the traditional art of self defence but helps me manage both the mental and physical balance within my life. It also has given me the opportunity to not only train with my teenage son but witness his confidence, discipline and fitness grow.
This art has allowed me to achieve and maintain a high level of fitness, discipline and confidence that I take with me into all aspects of my life. The instructors are passionate and dedicated, and the classes are fun, safe and family friendly - my wife and my son are students too! First Tae Kwon Do is a fantastic way to learn a traditional non-competitive form of self defence.
