Fit n Fast Five Dock

I was a long-time member of this gym last year and honestly, I had no issues with FNF in the past. I left for a smaller gym, with a closer-knit community vibe. My big issues with this gym came July this year when I decided to re-join on the ex-member deal and was promised a $2 upgrade email for the yoga bar by their staff. No email came and turns out that this was never a valid deal. FNF staff lied to get both myself and housemate to join. I only joined for the yoga. NO OTHER REASON (which I stated on sign up and was promised yoga would be available for $2 more by FNF five dock many times!!). This gym uses dishonest tactics to coerce people into signing long contacts. DODGY GYM!! BE CAREFUL!
I went to this Gym to see if I wanted to sign up as I was moving next door.. I wasnt that impressed with the equipment or changing rooms but the salesperson was very pushy and convinced me to give him my details by saying "sign up today and it will be cheaper, dont worry you wont start paying till you come here the first time"
I decided not to go back but 6 months later found out they had been taking money out of my account..
I contacted head office and they offered to "cancel my account for free as a sign of good will, and a free month membership.. I Said i would happily sign up for a year and pay for the rest of the year if they gave me what I was owed in gym time (about 6months) and they stopped responding to my calls or emails.. discusting and unprofessional..
I have heard this same story from a few other people.

Gone downhill and customer service is none existent.
My membership has been altered since the five dock club changed. I now no longer have access to yoga or Pilate classes and the group fitness classes have been reduced. I was advised I could pay an extra $5 to receive access because I was an existing member. This was not the case. Wish I had kept my fitness first membership. Your membership manager is very rude. I will be Lodging a complaint with consumer affairs. Great place to train, even has a swimming pool that members can access. Great vibe with heaps of equipment. Plenty of classes if that is what you are looking for too.

lots of space, great amount of machines especially as this place gets very busy. a pool is available and a large range of classes are likewise accessible.
