Takeaways
Flying Fish & Chips
This outlet is part of the food court at The Star. It provides a good dining option especially if you want something informal before a show. There seems to be sufficient food court seating around here but be aware it will get crowded if you arrive at the same time as everyone else before a show. They offer seafood and Japanese options as well as a bar service too.
You pay and order at the counter and they will provide you with a buzzer if you have ordered a made to order item. The service was polite and got through the queues quite quickly. We ordered Classic Fish & Chips. The batter on the fish was lovely and crunchy. The fish inside was soft and not dry. Chips were also nice too. Although it is not the cheapest place around it does provide an alternative to the more upmarket restaurants here.
The food here is quite expensive, but it is pretty delicious. I wouldn't say that it's anything absolutely delicious that it would justify the price though. The service is pretty great, as I was serviced by a friendly staff member and the food came out pretty quickly.
Great spot to stop by for lunch.
My chilli salt & pepper calamari ($12.50) was great, washed down with a glass of bubbles!
Super friendly service and when the bubbles wasn't very bubbly, automatically replaced.
Fresh seafood and pre made options also available for take-away. Japanese menu inc. soup, salads, sides, main & bento boxes also available.
