Flying Horse Bar & Brewery

This is quite a modern bar located next to the homemaker centre on the outskirts of Warrnambool that also doubles as a brewery. It's not so much a classy, or even a trendy, tavern but rather one that appears to be targeting young families with a bistro and children's play equipment. However what caught my attention was the local craft beer on tap, named Lady Bay. In fact they had a whole range of craft beers on tap, which includes the Whale Ale that you occasionally find around Melbourne. Anyway, I ended up having the Lady Bay lager, which had quite a fruity taste to it, so I really enjoyed it. The pub itself wasn't bad, though we came around lunch time so it was starting to get a little busy. We still found a nice area outside in the sun to sit and enjoy our beers though. While it isn't the best pub in Warrnambool, it is still one I would recommend, even if it is only for the craft beer.
