Footprints Preston Beach has a layout that has been carefully designed to create a number of beach shack ‘communities’ through the resort with open spaces for children to play and families to meet. Our freestanding ‘beach shacks’ come in two bedroom, one bathroom or two bedroom, two bathroom versions. The spacious garden areas separating the outdoor areas give a sense of space and plenty of room to play.The resort has a restaurant on site, with a casual atmosphere to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner. There is also plenty of guest and boat parking, along with a general store next door and a golf course across the road.Preston Beach is on one of the most unspoilt and uncrowded stretches of coastline anywhere. Stroll down and enjoy safe swimming for all ages in the crystal clear waters, or just laze on the beach and sunbake.Footprints Preston Beach is a leisurely 90 minute drive south of Perth.

After reading reviews about surly service and buffet fare I was pleasantly surprised when I ate at footprints, the opening hours are minimal which was inconvenient but come Saturday night there was nowhere else to go in preston beach so we went in and found a pleasant European girl who was polite and attentive, we saw the chef who was neat and tidy and we had a delicious steak dinner. My husband got a perfect blue and I got I perfect m/rare at $27 ea which is less than Perth prices although the next table over thought it expensive for sirloin. The meat was tender and the creamy mushroom sauce was very nice and they had it on the side which I liked, I don't like my food swimming in sauce and I ended up dressing the sprout and rocket garnish with it. We had mud cake for after and it came with complimentary ice cream and strawberries, delicious!!
