DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!! Only half star - useless company, terms say max 15 ppl but always ring day before and say sorry only got 6 confirmations so unable to go out. If they don't want the business then get out. Bought 2 living social vouchers which we are now requesting refunds for. 3 cancellations who knows they prob don't even have a boat!
This business is run very poorly. After several attempts I finally got an answer from the staff taking bookings. I booked the whole boat for a full day fishing for 15 people. First date was cancelled due to bad weather - fair enough. After several more attempts, I managed to secure a second day. We all turned up on time and nobody was there. They claim they left me a message to cancel again because of engine trouble. I got no phone call or message about this. When I challenged to management about this, they abused me and called me all sorts of names and hung up on me. My mates don't want to try again. At first they refused to refund us. A few weeks of hassling them, they agreed. Now 3 months later, still no refund. I've been to the Office of Fair Trading who are chasing it up. If that fails, I'll have to try Small Claims.
BEWARE - Do NOT use them. I bought a voucher with a few mates off Living Social. The first trip was cancelled so I went to book another one and the staff who takes the bookings is hopeless. After trying to call them around 5 times a day, left countless messages for almost a week I finally got a text back saying they were in a meeting. After receiving this message a couple of times I finally got through and booked a time. I turned up and this staff was there on the boat, and said didn't you get the text about it being cancelled? I never received any phone calls or messages about the cancellation and I said that was very disappointed on the way they ran their business. Then another staff told me to "get off his F#!?@n boat" and they threatened to punch me. So I asked for my money back and they said no and threatened me again. I will get a refund from Living Social! I have been around fishing with my mates and have been on fishing charters but I have to say this one has been the best by far! Helpful fellas and definitely know what they're doing. Booking was easy. Once on the boat we all had a blast! Even my wife enjoyed it (she ain't a big fisher). I can't wait to go again in the holidays. Thanks boys.
