Fred's Auto Mechanic Repairs

I took my car in for Roadworthy inspection, I dropped of the car while I was waiting for urba,
They took my car for a test drive ,within 30 secounds the mechanic came back he called me over and said the car needed a new Diff I said that's impossible , I canceled the Urba and he took me for a test drive , during the test drive I stated to him I could not here any noisy diff , he answer I don't know if it's the front or rear diff being a AWD, he then quoted me above $2000 to fix it I told him I would not worry about fixing it ,as I knew he was trying to rip me of, how did I know because I come from a family of petrol heads and I probably know more about cars and fixing them than he did , I just wanted a honest roadworthy done also he told me he lost his roadworthy licence and he had to get some else to do it well if you don't have licence to do roadworthy why are you taking cars out on a test drive anyway, ...read more
