I purchased some salads from Freshco today. Beautiful food and the girl who served me was lovely. My BIG issue is that she took my cash, used the cash register, touched her nose and then went back to chopping beetroot for fresh juice!!!! Very poor infection control!!!!

I've had both good and bad experiences here. I find, so long as you purchase with discretion, the produce to be of decent quality and freshness. It is certainly cheaper than Coles a few stores away! Checkout staff are efficient and friendly. They have a counter facing into the centre where you can buy fresh juice, yoghurt and similar ready-to-consume things. I used to get yoghurt but they always skimped on the fruit and when I asked for extra they wanted to charge me a whole lot extra. I was unimpressed and so don't really visit much anymore.

I would like to add my comment to one that has already been made regarding the seeming terrific bargain on strawberries. What on earth was used to grow these?? The colour is deceptively attractive but the taste!!! Absolutely horrendous! Worse than the cardboard tasting ones that were on the market a few years back. It is an insult to the strawberry species! - who would sell a product without having an idea of its quality?? Won't be back there too soon...
Bought 4 boxes of strawberry and throw them all (up to the last berry) to the rubbish. Why don't them call themselves NotAlwaysFreshCo or Sometimes Freshco?

I'm a regular customer at this shop, every week I buy all my shopping list from this store because they have specials. The cashiers are always friendly with us but today (Sunday 19-08-2012) I had a problem with the undercover security guy of this shop. My husband and I took a bag of apples and lemons and we were carrying more shopping bags so I decided to go find a trolley. My baby started to cry so I put my baby in the trolley and we put the rest of my shopping bags in there too. We stayed there for 10 min while we were moving all the staff in the trolley and while we were talking after that we just walked away and forgot that we were buying stuff there. We just walked 5 metres from the store and the security guy came and told us that we didn't pay for those apples and lemons. I was surprised because I got distracted so quick and I felt embarrassed and said sorry and we walked back to the store because as we told him we were going to buy more stuffs ...read more
