We asked the owner of Gardenia Pools, David, for a quote to look after our pool. We saw David in his shop and he agreed to meet us at our house to look at our pool and give us a quote for the full time maintenance of our pool. He billed us $77 for a site visit! We were surprised / disappointed to say the least. There was no mention of paying for a site visit when we were asking for a quote or we would not have asked him to come to our place. He was at our place maybe 20 minutes. He did not clean our pool! His quote was $77 per week, not including chemicals. We are NOT employing David and I would not recommend him. Our next quote was $28 per week, not including chemicals. We are taking the second quote!
The reviewer above who we shall call Janice received a quote up front as did her sister Annie before insisting David attend their deceased father's property. The amount charged is consistent with this quote. Besides our pool technician service, we also offer a new pool owner orientation service. The amount charged is the same.
While David was at this property he instructed Annie and her partner how to operate the filtration system and they asked him inside to review the invoices from the previous pool service technician which David said were reasonable and he suggested they continue with their father’s previous pool service ...read more
